Sometimes, users will not use all of the MIPI CSI 2 lanes available when
connecting to the MIPI CSI receiver of their device. Add a helper
function that checks the mbus_config for the device driver to allow
users to define the number of active data lanes through the
get_mbus_config op.
If the driver does not implement this op, fall back to using the maximum
number of lanes available.

The recently introduced devm_v4l2_sensor_clk_get() helper aims at
simplifying sensor drivers by centralizing clock handling code, as well
as reducing cargo-cult and deprecated behaviour.
A set of drivers implement external clock handling in a non-standard
way. This can't be changed as there is a high risk of breaking existing
platforms, but keeping the code as-is creates a risk of new drivers
copying deprecated behaviour.
To fix this, introduce a new devm_v4l2_sensor_clk_get_legacy() helper
and use it in those driver. Compared to devm_v4l2_sensor_clk_get(), the
new helper takes the "clock-frequency" property into account and sets
the external clock rate on OF platforms, and adds the ability to specify
a fixed default or fallback clock rate in case the "clock-frequency"
property is not present.

Introduce a helper for v4l2 sensor drivers on both DT- and ACPI-based
platforms to retrieve a reference to the clock producer from firmware.
This helper behaves the same as devm_clk_get() except where there is
no clock producer like in ACPI-based platforms.
For ACPI-based platforms the function will read the "clock-frequency"
ACPI _DSD property and register a fixed frequency clock with the frequency
indicated in the property.
This function also handles the special ACPI-based system case where:
. The clock-frequency _DSD property is present.
. A reference to the clock producer is present, where the clock is provided
by a camera sensor PMIC driver (e.g. int3472/tps68470.c)
In this case try to set the clock-frequency value to the provided clock.

v4l2_find_nearest_size() returns a mode from sensor driver's mode list
that is a best match width and height wise for the sensor. Some drivers
have different set of available modes depending on the number of lanes.
While this could be handled within a driver by providing different lists
of modes, provide a helper v4l2_find_nearest_size_conditional() to ignore
modes that aren't available.
Also use size_t for the array index and remove extra commas while at it.

v4l2_get_link_freq() accepts a V4L2 control handler for now, but it needs
to take struct media_pad argument in order to obtain the link frequency
using get_mbus_config() pad op. Prepare for this by allowing struct
media_pad as well.

In commit 8caab75fd2c2 ("spi: Generalize SPI "master" to "controller"")
some functions and struct members were renamed. To not break all drivers
compatibility macros were provided.
To be able to remove these compatibility macros push the renaming into
v4l2_spi_new_subdev().

Building the kerneldoc resulted in two errors:

Format v4l2_link_freq_to_bitmap according to the kerneldoc standard.
The v4l2_fill_pixfmt_mp function also had incorrect return value
formatting, although that didn't report an error/warning, but it looked
ugly in the generated documentation. So fix that one as well.

The subdev .[gs]_frame_interval are video operations, but they operate
on pads (and even on streams). Not only is this confusing, it causes
practical issues for drivers as the operations don't receive a subdev
state pointer, requiring manual state handling.
To improve the situation, turn the operations into pad operations, and
extend them to receive a state pointer like other pad operations.
While at it, rename the operations to .[gs]et_frame_interval at the same
time to match the naming scheme of other pad operations. This isn't
strictly necessary, but given that all drivers using those operations
need to be modified, handling the rename separately would generate more
churn for very little gain (if at all).

Fraction bytes-per-pixel exist for some packed format. You will find
notably on Rockhip platform that 10bit data is stored fully packed,
meaning that there is 1.25 pixels per bytes. This can be represented
with the fraction 5/4 and can be used to scale the width into a
bytesperline.

half of the media patches that were in linux-next got merged in -rc1.
The script which creates the signed tags silently failed due to
5.19->6.0 so it ended generating a tag with incomplete stuff.

- old drivers that are VB1 are being moved to staging to be
deprecated

The helper functions that test validity of colorspace-related fields
use the last value of the corresponding enums. This isn't very
future-proof, as there's a high chance someone adding a new value may
forget to update the helpers. Add new "LAST" entries to the enumerations
to improve this, and keep them private to the kernel.

Rename v4l2_get_link_rate() as v4l2_get_link_freq(). What the function
returns is the frequency of the link; rename it to reflect the name of the
control where the information is obtained.

The CSC API (Colorspace conversion) allows userspace to try
to configure the colorspace, transfer function, Y'CbCr/HSV encoding
and the quantization for capture devices. This patch adds support
to the CSC API in vivid.
Using the CSC API, userspace is allowed to do the following:
- Set the colorspace.
- Set the xfer_func.
- Set the ycbcr_enc function for YUV formats.
- Set the hsv_enc function for HSV formats
- Set the quantization for YUV and RGB formats.

As a preparation for adding 64-bit time_t support in the uapi,
change the drivers to no longer care about the format of the
timestamp field in struct v4l2_buffer.
The v4l2_timeval_to_ns() function is no longer needed in the
kernel after this, but there is userspace code relying on
it to be part of the uapi header.

It is often useful to figure out if a pixel_format is either YUV or RGB
especially for driver who can perform the pixel encoding conversion.
Instead of having each driver implement its own "is_this_yuv/rgb"
function based on a restricted set of pixel value, it is better to do
this in centralized manner.
We therefore add a pixel_enc member to the v4l2_format_info structure to
quickly identify the related pixel encoding.
And add helper functions to check pixel encoding.

Separate the i2c helpers to v4l2-i2c.c, in order to get rid
of the ifdefery. No functional changes intended, this is
just a cosmetic change to organize the code better.
Given I2C is a tristate symbol, a hidden boolean symbol
is introduced, to make the conditional build easier.

Add two new API helpers, v4l2_fill_pixfmt and v4l2_fill_pixfmt_mp,
to be used by drivers to calculate plane sizes and bytes per lines.
Note that driver-specific padding and alignment are not
taken into account, and must be done by drivers using this API.

v4l2_i2c_subdev_set_name() can be used to assign a name to a sub-device.
This way uniform names can be formed easily without having to resort to
things such as snprintf in drivers.

This sparse warning is emitted by using v4l2_find_nearest_size in some
cases. Fix it in the framework.

An older version of the driver patches were merged accidentally which
resulted in missing the array_size parameter that tells the length of the
array that contains the different supported sizes.
Bring it back to v4l2_find_nearest size and make the corresponding change
for the drivers using it as well.

Basically, v4l2_find_nearest_size() callers pass 5 arguments,
while its definition require 6 args.
Unfortunately, my build process was also broken, as it was reporting me that
the compilation went fine:

v4l2_find_nearest_format is not useful for drivers in finding the best
matching format as it assumes a V4L2 specific struct. Drivers will use
v4l2_find_nearest_size instead.

Add a function (as well as a helper macro) to obtain the best size in a
list of device specific sizes. This helps writing drivers as well as
aligns interface behaviour across drivers.
The struct in which this information is contained in is typically specific
to the driver, therefore the existing function v4l2_find_nearest_format()
does not address the need.

This struct is there just two store two arguments of
v4l2_find_nearest_format(). The other two arguments are passed
as parameter.
IMHO, there isn't much sense on doing that, and that will just
add one more struct to document ;)
So, let's get rid of the struct, passing the parameters directly.

Currently, there's a mess at the V4L2 printk macros: some drivers
use their own macros, others use pr_foo() or v4l_foo() macros,
while more modern drivers use dev_foo() macros.
The best is to get rid of v4l_foo() macros, as they can be
replaced by either dev_foo() or pr_foo(). Yet, such change can
be disruptive, as dev_foo() cannot use KERN_CONT. So, the best
is to do such change driver by driver.
There are replacements for most v4l_foo() macros, but it lacks
a way to enable debug messages per level. So, add such macro,
in order to make the conversion easier.
